Building Bridges of Hope

"My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness."

Our Story

The Coming Home Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a sense of "home" to survivors of human and sex trafficking. Founded in 2024 and based in Houston, Texas, we aim to bridge the gap between rehabilitation program completion and permanent independence for survivors. Our primary focus is to offer secure, long-term housing alongside essential support services, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and hope.

As a survivor-led organization, The Coming Home Foundation understands that "home" is often a foreign concept for many who have endured trafficking. The journey to finding peace and security often involves emotional and physical displacement. Our name, Coming Home, reflects our commitment to providing survivors with a supportive place to belong—to find safety, acceptance truly, and the tools to build a future of stability and self-worth.

Mission Statement

The Coming Home Foundation provides long-term housing and economic empowerment for survivors of human trafficking through financial literacy and creating pathways to permanent housing.

#1 City for Human Trafficking

Houston is at the center of the human trafficking crisis, with over 300,000 victims identified in Texas each year. The Coming Home Foundation is committed to addressing this urgent need by providing safe housing for survivors.

Increases Risk of Re-Trafficking

Without safe, stable housing, survivors of trafficking are at high risk of returning to dangerous situations. Housing instability often leads survivors back to the streets, where they are vulnerable to exploitation. The Coming Home Foundation addresses this critical issue by providing stable, supportive housing that breaks the cycle of homelessness and re-trafficking, empowering survivors to build a future free from exploitation.

From Crisis to Independence

Houston lacks accessible, dedicated housing for survivors of human trafficking. The Coming Home Foundation provides a vital stepping stone with rent-free housing, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence.
